Hello from Trade Insight AI. Let's learn about the heart of TIA—its engines. An engine is our proprietary AI that receives a product description—in our case, a wide-brim raffia bucket hat, hand-crocheted raffia—and provides a classification and rationale, such as the one you see here.

That's it. Extremely simple: product description in, classification and rationale out.

Now, engines can differ in their output structure, reasoning capabilities, knowledge base, and cost.

For example, engine E4-1 always structures its final output in four sections:

• Classification rationale
• Citations
• Assumptions
• Proposed classification

In contrast, engine E1-3 has more freedom in its output structure.

Currently, our most advanced engine is E4-1, but we’ll never stop working on new engines.
